What are You Reading
I just finished the Accidental Billionaire and passed that on to my daughter who actually understands Facebook. I was a great read!
My new read, I won! it is Social Lives by Wendy Walker. I won this book from a post by Tolly Mosely, Publicist on this blog: http://phenixpublicity.blogspot.com/ More books to come!
Loving the book so far! A Gossip-Girl for grown-ups! Easy read-fun to read so far!

What? Gossip Girl isn't for grown-ups? ;)
hey there - I don't know how I got her for sure - I think it was Petey the Wonderdog's passing...but I am from Iowa originally!!!! And I just want to say "hey" to you! I saw the windows of Des Moines post form 2008 and those are simply awesome pictures...
Hope your weekend is great!
Blessings,
Cindy
Chris.. do you know about Paperbackswap.com
It is an awesome way to get books free.. and you can get rid of yours and earn points to get the books you want... I love it.. and I don't read too much.. mostly self help etc... I'm reading 100 year lifestyle, and Dr. Phil's wifes book.. which is pretty good.. dang she had a hard life growing up. Makes you count your blessings...
Thanks for your nice comment on my blog on subversive stitchers... Many Hugs...
I'm reading The Great Influenza. Very scary but good.
I wandered over to your blog. Found you on the 2009 One World One Heart Giveaway site. After watching the movie Julie and Julia recently, I've decided to try and go through the ENTIRE OWOH list, from beginning to end, in 90 days and connect/reconnect with all the artists and blogs that truly inspire me! Your blog is amazing and really resonated with me!
A bit about me. I'm a mystery writer, jewelry artist, and college professor. Yes, and a Gemini, if you couldn't tell! Here is my blog, where I blend my mystery writing and jewelry craft:

My first mystery Keeping House: A Madame President mystery just came out on Amazon.

Girls enjoying books, great way to pass the day. My head is usually in decorating magazines, but a good true crime will hold my interest anytime.

I just finished "The Host" by the same author who wrote all the Twilight books. It was pretty good. Now I'm searching for a new one.
