On July 12, 2008 I paid $3.959 a gallon. Today, I paid $3.079. Now if we could squeak it down another 50 cents a gallon or so!! Today, life in Des Moines, Iowa is not so bad!

It feels good, doesn't it, when we see the price of gas go down...but it makes me sad that we get "excited" when it comes down, but it's still higher than it was 6 months ago...they manage to make us feel like we are getting a "bargain". We are so at the mercy of the people who control oil/gas...
